Bruno`s Restaurant in Lafayette Hill

Have you ever Driven by a Place that you said you were gonna try. But you constantly drive by it in ever going. Well this is that place for me... I finally Went in for lunch. To my surprise my server was excellent. I ordered A bowl of chili it was excellent. I also ordered a roast beef Hoagie. The roast is cooked in house. It actually melts in your mouth. The taste is unbelievable. The presentation of the food was excellent. I'm really really looking for to going back. I wish I never waited so long to try to place.

I preordered my chicken cheese steak. It was ready when I got there. It was good as usual. I chose to take a piece of cheese cake with me. I took a bite as I was leaving in my car. It was hard and stale. I took it back right away, they gave me another piece that was fresh. For that reason I chose a 3.5 to 4.

Diner/restaurant at the end of the Wissahickon trail. Waitress was very friendly. Service was fast. Food was decent. Would go there again.

Had such a great meal last night. The atmosphere was perfect. We sat outside and enjoyed the outdoors while chatting. I had a few beers (BYOB) that paired well with my bacon cheesesteak and cottage fries. My friend had a mushroom bacon cheeseburger that looked incredible! Next visit I shall be trying that (without mushrooms). Will be returning sooner than later.

Bruno's was good I had breakfast my breakfast was good my daughter and Grandson had lunch they had burgers and other one has steak sandwich they said there's was good too probably not as good as my breakfast but I don't know I didn't try it

I go to this outstanding place every couple of days as I like the special air that is part of this restaurant. The team is awfuly friendly and qualified. The service is absolutely quick. Most important, the food they cook is excellent. I came often and I was always pleased. The expense is decent. I highly suggest this restaurant to to everybody.

It's okay. I liked the scrapple, it was cooked perfectly. The service was good. Disappointed about the pancakes, they were flat and dense. Maybe order a waffle or french toast. The scrambled eggs were just okay. Also, kind of pricey for a breakfast that I can make better at home(not a chef).

Bruno's restaurant and catering is a wonderful little golden spot right before the very tip of Philadelphia for a filling and wonderful tasting meal I'd definitely recommend this place

Very tradicional dishes w/home-made touch, Love it!

Dining room was empty at 1::00. Air conditioning was working. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was fresh a and good. Breakfast all day.

They made a nice sandwich but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there again.

Food was just ok. The menu needs some censoring and i was quite disappointed that we sat there for over 90 mins with 4 kids under 4 and were never offered crayons and coloring books. (I only saw them AFTER we finished our meal and went to use the restroom).

Atmosphere is quaint, convenient to walking trail, Chestnut Hill College, and historic Chestnut Hill. Food is average, yet a bit pricey for this type of eatery.Waitress was friendly, another waitress wore shorts that were rather offensive! Butt cheeks should not be hanging out of shorts! NASTY!

A group of us -- family -- had breakfast there this morning and it was excellent! Our server, Bri, couldn't have been nicer and more helpful and accommodating. Food was great!! I believe Brunos turns 30 on or about January 16 and there will be specials there that day!

Solid food with a few surprising spins on a simple menu. Very good prices and service.

Brunos has been consistently delicious for decades but get takeout because the restaurant isnt very clean, and needs a major refreshing.

Delicious pancakes and french toast, especially after a run on Forbidden Drive.

Needs a better vent fan. Food is mediocre. Service by very young women who try very hard in bad circumstances. Not a great stop.

Friendly staff, great place after a morning run?

A chestnut hill staple on the dining scene for years, I was creeped out with a bug crawling through the dining room on the wall and ceiling and the adjoining table. Serious negative points for cleanliness in dinning room, kitchen and bath. Needs a through scrubbing and updating.

AVOID! I was visiting the area for work when I decided to eat lunch here. I ordered the chicken sandwich with bacon and honey mustard and a few bites in, I bite into a toothpick! So disgusting and unsanitary!! Not to mention the fact that the sandwich had zero taste! I watched the young man make my sandwich from placing the chicken on the grill to wrapping it up, so the only logical reason for this is that the toothpick was already on the chicken when he placed it on the grill. JUST DISGUSTING!

Delicious omlets and potatoes.. The Outside seating is nice.
